No Respect Cardinals…

Arizona Sports News online

The “disrespect card” is being played up by the Arizona Cardinals. The wise guys in Vegas have your hometown heroes slotted as a touchdown underdog for Sundays showdown against Seattle.
Cardinal fans well remember  in 2009 NBC analyst Cris Collinsworth referred to the Cardinals as the worst playoff team in NFL history.
Sunday Collinsworth will be in the booth doing the broadcast with Al Michaels. “I don’t know if he feels the same way as last time.” Calais Campbell told me earlier today, “I don’t think anybody is going to say that about us this time because we’ve worked hard, we’ve earned it”. Campbell said he won’t remind Collinsworth of the 2009 comments if he sees him in pre-production meetings later this week, “not my style”…

Ryan Lindley will start at quarterback, Logan Thomas has a package of plays too. The current quarterback situation is where having the experience of Arians, Tom Moore and Freddie Kitchens really helps. Lindley and Thomas can’t get the Cardinals beat. Throw the ball away, don’t turn the ball over, manage the game and clock. They can win Sunday…

Quoteable quotes…

Bruce Arians – “we’ve been written off all year, write another check, you never have to check your bank account just keep writing checks”…

Jonathan Cooper- “I think the guys around me have more confidence in me, we are improving together”…

Logan Thomas- “I know the amount of set plays that I have and I can perfect them”…
