Starting my year off at Phoenix & Torrey back-to-back weeks. I’m ready to go. Should be a lot of fun. http://t.co/sRnFLf6NvM

Tiger Woods made it official Friday morning. He will be playing in the Waste Management Phoenix Open at TPC Scottsdale later this month.
The Thunderbirds started getting an indication of Woods’ interest several weeks ago. They reserved three rooms for Woods at one of the top Valley resorts and his business people had purchased tickets at the 16th hole.
Tiger hasn’t played at TPC Scottsdale since 2001.
Two people associated with the Tourney told me that if Woods did commit, they would have to spend an additional $100K in security.
