Pac-12 Commissioner Larry Scott announced Monday that University of Arizona men’s basketball player Solomon Hill was named Bank of the West Pac-12 men’s basketball Player of the Week for the week of Nov. 28-Dec. 4.

The Wildcats Junior forward had averaged 13.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 5.0 assists in wins over New Mexico State and Northern Arizona University last week moving his season numbers to 12.4 points, 7.8 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game.

The Veteran Hill, who has separated himself as a leader on this Arizona team, is the first Wildcat to win this award this season and it is the first time he has been given this individual honor.

Wildcats face a major road test Wednesday as they travel to Gainesville, Florida to face the 12th ranked Florida Gators in front of a national audience.
