Nick Johnson says being a Wildcat is an honor

Some of the best basketball players to come through the Arizona High School ranks have worn an Arizona Wildcat uniform. The latest of this tradition could be Nick Johnson.

Though Johnson left Highland High School in Gilbert to finish his high school career at Findlay Prep in Nevada, Johnson still has Arizona roots and grew up watching the Wildcats. Now being a Wildcat himself, he finds himself being involved in talks of Arizona’s march toward the post-season to be “an honor.”

In his freshman season, Johnson has had to be a versitle player for his team. Being forced to play many different roles for the Cats, including playing out of position at point guard with Jordin Mayes out with a foot injury.

Pros2preps.com caught up with Nick Johnson and Sean Miller to talk about Johnson’s many roles to help the team be successful.
