7th inning rally propels Hamilton over Brophy

slider generic_baseballThe Hamilton Huskies made it all the way to the state title game a season ago, only to fall short in the big game to Mountain Pointe as a result.

But the Huskies are back and are off to an impressive start to 2012 winning 10 of their first 12 games. One of which, a redemption game over Mountain Pointe.

Hamilton remained on their winning ways Tuesday in a walk-off win, 5-4 over Brophy.

Hamilton was lead by junior first baseman Cody Bellanger, who was two for three on the afternoon with a go-ahead solo home run in the 6th. Then the walk-off RBI single in the 7th. Hamilton also got a strong outing from their right handed pitcher Patrick Murphy. He took the mound in the seventh eyeing a complete game before being pulled from the game with two on and one out in the final inning.
