Top AZ high school recruits announce verbal commitments

Brophy quarterback Tyler Bruggman is heading to Washington State to play for Mike Leach, over staying in state to attend Arizona State University.

Pros2Preps recruiting contributor Jason Jewell said Bruggman was in a position that schools were filling up at quarterback and needed to decide.

Jewell told Brad Cesmat on ‘Big Guy on Sports’ on Wednesday, Bruggman preferred the offensive system at Washington State.

Pros2Preps caught up with Bruggman last week at a 7 on 7 Passing League tournament at Arizona State, where he told us he was focused on football and looking towards victory in 2012.

Soon after Bruggman made his announcement QB Joshua Dobbs our of Georgia announced a verbal commitment to Arizona State University.

Also on Wednesday Blue Ridge’s Chans Cox made a verbal commitment to Arizona State during an unofficial visit. Cox is regarded as the top prospect in the class of 2013 in the state of Arizona.
