VisitMesa.com Basketball Challenge Announces All-Tournament Team

For the last eight seasons, the VisitMesa.com Basketball Challenge is one of the most competitive and unique high school basketball showcase events to occur. Not only does it include some of the top programs and players that the state has to offer, it also brings in elite programs from around the country. Case-in-point this season, the event that is put on by Monarch Sports brought in Federal Way High School which came in the number one ranked team in the state of Washington.

This year’s event took place from December 26-27, 29-31, 2014 at Mesa Mountain View High School. Below are the accolades received by the standout performers from the event:

Most Outstanding Player: Marvin Bagley III (6-10, 2018); Corona del Sol/Tempe, AZ Lockdown Defensive Player: Ben Wahlberg (6-6, 2015); Pinnacle/Phoenix, AZ Breakout/Upside Player: Colton Kresl (6-0, 2017); Chaparral/Scottsdale, AZ

Brandon Clarke (6-7, 2015); Desert Vista/Phoenix, AZ

Quincy Taylor (6-3, 2015); Desert Vista/Phoenix, AZ

Vionte Daniels (6-3, 2015); Federal Way/Federal Way, WA

Jalen McDaniels (6-9, 2016); Federal Way/Federal Way, WA 

Dane Kuiper (6-7, 2015); Corona del Sol/ Tempe, AZ

Alex Barcello (6-2, 2017) Corona del Sol/Tempe, AZ

Although no champion is crowned, Corona del Sol (Tempe, AZ) was the only team to finish undefeated. The 2015 VisitMesa.com Basketball Challenge is tentatively scheduled December 26, 28-30.
