Arizona State linebacker Christian Sam has been selected in the sixth round by the New England Patriots with pick #178.
Sam, who led the Pac-12 in tackles in 2017 with 127, joined D.J. Foster and Devin Lucien as Sun Devils to recently play for the Patriots.
The linebacker mkssed much of his 2016 season due to injury and had 98 tackles in 2015.
He joins Kalen Ballage as Sun Devils selected in the 2018 NFL Draft. Ballage was a fourth round selection by the Miami Dolphins.
