When the college football season started, Arizona Wildcat quarterback Khalil Tate was viewed as the Heisman Trophy candidate, while Washington States Gardener Minshew was simply an after-thought to those outside of Pullman, Washington. With the Heisman ceremony just a few weeks away, it’s almost a certainty that Minshew will be the player in New York City.

Late Saturday night Minshew tore up the Arizona defense, throwing 7 touchdowns. as the #7 Cougars crushed the Wildcats 69-28.
Tate threw four touchdown passes in the loss. Arizona will finish out their regular season on Saturday at home against Arizona State.
The game got out of hand early thanks to three turnovers and six penalties by the Wildcats. Washington State went to the locker room leading at the half 55-14
