Jones, a Pro Bowl alternate in 2016, is one of only three players (Von Miller, Khalil Mack) to have double-digit sacks the past two seasons.
The Cardinals gave Jones the non-exclusive franchise tag back on February 27th.
He was a first-round pick of the New England Patriots back in 2012 and came over in a trade with Pats last off-season.
