Big offers aren’t a new thing for Pinnacle offensive tackle Tosh Baker.
The 6-foot-8, class of 2020 offensive lineman holds eight offers from Pac-12 schools, five Big Ten programs and other notable offers include Oklahoma and Notre Dame.
But even for a highly sought after prospect like Baker, a two hour span that added two perrenial top-10 teams to the offer sheet is one to remember.
On Monday night, the University of Alabama offered Baker, his first SEC offer. Just under two hours later, Ohio State followed suit.

“Alabama and Ohio State are both big time schools that are very competitive! Alabama and Ohio State both have a history of sending players to the league,” Baker said in a message.
“They both liked my upside, my athleticism, my foot work, and my length. They both commented on my film and how I’m a competitor with my great potential.”

“This kid had so much going as far back as his freshman year just based on his size and length,” Sports360AZ recruiting expert Jason Jewell said. “Offensive tackles are probably the hardest body types to find and so when you have a 6’5″+ frame, you will garner interest.
“All Tosh needed was film. He put some quality footage out there this year and you have seen the results.”
Baker said he would like to make his commitment in late spring or early summer before his senior season.
