The Arizona High School Football State Championships are Set

Division I is to be played at University of Phoenix Stadium at 3:30pm THIS Saturday, top seed Mountain Pointe Pride will get a state championship rematch with the defending state champion, three seeded Hamilton Huskies.

Division II will kick-off at 6pm on Friday from Arizona Stadium on the campus of the University of Arizona. It will be the number one seed, the Salpointe Catholic Lancers taking on the three seeded Chaparral Firebirds who return to the title game after a one year absence.

Earlier in the day Friday at 1pm from Arizona Stadium, the defending state champion and fourth seeded Queen Creek Bulldogs will look to go back-to-back against the second seeded Saguaro Sabercats.

In Division IV, the fourth seeded Blue Ridge Yellow Jackets return to their home away from home, the state championship game to face sixth seeded River Valley who is fresh off their semifinal upset of the defending champion Seton Catholic Sentinels. Kick-off at Saturday 6:30pm from North Canyon high school.

Finally, at 2pm on Saturday from North Canyon, the division V title game will be a matchup of fourth seeded Round Valley against third seeded Yuma Catholic.

And a congratulations to Bagdad high school who defeated Mogollon 44-20 to take the division VI crown last week.
