Arizona State University and Fresno State have scheduled a future football game, Vice President for University Athletics Ray Anderson announced Thursday.
The game will be played on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Sun Devil Stadium/Frank Kush Field in Tempe.
“We are excited to be able to announce this football game with Fresno State ” says Anderson. “It is with great excitement that we renew a matchup with one of the strongest football programs on the West Coast. We believe our fan base will enjoy this matchup.”
ASU and Fresno State last met in football in 1941, making it 82 years in between games in the series by the time this 2023 game arrives. The Sun Devils hold a 3-0 advantage in the series. ASU won 7-0 at Fresno in 1931, 21-7 at Tempe in 1933 and 26-7 at Fresno in 1941.
