Less than 24 hours before the kickoff of the Pac-12 football season, the conference has seen its second game canceled in opening weekend.
According to a statement, the conference has approved a request from Utah to cancel its game against the Arizona Wildcats on Saturday due to the Utes not having the minimum number of scholarship players for the game after positive cases of COVID-19 came up within the program.

On Thursday, Cal and Washington saw the same fate of their game, and Cal’s Week 2 matchup against Arizona State could be at risk due to quarantine protocols within the Bear’s roster.
The Pac-12 slate remaining is Arizona State at USC, UCLA at Colorado, Stanford at Oregon and Washington State at Oregon State.
