The No. 1 center in the 2021 class also was reportedly also considering Missouri, Virginia and Vanderbilt. The 6-foot-3, 285-pound offensive lineman is considered a 4-star recruit according to 247 Sports and holds close to 30 offers. The multi-sport athlete also throws discus in the spring.
247 Sports’ Gabe Brooks had this to say when evaluating the new Sun Devil commit:
Possesses requisite size/build for high-major center. Jumps off the line quickly with some violence. Gets to the second level with relative ease. Flashes phone booth strength to consistently overwhelm high school competition. Block finisher in the run game. Packs some punch upon contact.
Arizona State now has 20 public commits with six of them being offensive linemen. The Sun Devils have been able to continue to add depth to that position group in this class under Pro Football Hall of Famer and ASU offensive analyst Kevin Mawae.
