The Sun Devils will play #21 Fresno State in the Las Vegas Bowl on December 15th at 1:30 p.m..
ASU is 7-5 in its first season under Herm Edwards and went 5-4 in conference. Notable storylines for the Sun Devils will be if wide receiver N’Keal Harry, who declared for the NFL draft, will participate in the bowl game. Eno Benjamin can set the ASU single season rushing record with 41 rushing yards in the bowl game.
ASU last played in the Las Vegas Bowl in 2011 in Dennis Erickson’s final game as the Sun Devils’ coach. They lost to Boise State 56-24.
The Bulldogs are 11-2 on the season and, like the Sun Devils, all their losses this season have been by one score. Fresno State won the Mountain West Conference with a 7-1 record.
