Baton Rouge, Louisiana native, Jordan Clark added his name to the list of recruits who have committed to Arizona State University, Tuesday morning via Twitter.
The four-star cornerback, out of Baton Rouge University Lab, which is located on the Louisiana State University campus, is ASU’s highest ranked commit in the 2019 class, along with Joey Yellen, a four-star quarterback out of Mission Viejo, CA.
“This has been the hardest decision I have ever made,” Clark said in his tweet. “My family and I made sure we explored every avenue as thoroughly as we could so that I could make the right decision.”

The cornerback is ranked No. 16 in the state of Louisiana and No. 38 nationally among 2019 cornerbacks per 247Sports.
Along with an offer from ASU, Clark also considered offers from Louisville, California, and Vanderbilt.
Over the course of his recruiting process Clark had interest from 19 total schools including: Indiana, Mississippi State, Nebraska, Ole Miss, Pittsburgh, and Southern Miss. He also earned Ivy League offers from Dartmouth, Harvard, and Yale.
Clark’s father, Ryan Clark, was a former Louisiana State University and NFL safety. Clark will be following in his father’s footsteps in playing Division I football by continuing his career at ASU.

The elder Clark is looking forward to his son getting the opportunity to play under ASU head coach Herm Edwards, writing in a congratulatory tweet: “So happy to know that Herm Edwards will be guiding you thru the next chapter of your life!”
With his announcement, Clark is the 15th commit to ASU in the 2019 class.
