Arizona State has made a strong statement to the value of in-state high school and also taking care of one of their own.
Yantis had success as head coach at Arizona Christian University and Paradise Valley high school. He is known through-out the Arizona high school and Junior College coaching community as a genuine, well-respected, sharp football mind.

Under Yantis’ direction at Paradise Valley the offense broke every school record in both passing and rushing yards, first downs, and points scored. As a high school coach Yantis produced 16 Division I athletes, 21 junior college athletes, and five Division II athletes.
