Arizona State running back Kalen Ballage accounted for 8 touchdowns Saturday night, as the Sun Devils beat Texas Tech 68-55 at Sun Devil Stadium. The 8 touchdowns tied a NCAA FBS record. Ballage said after the game to FS1 ” They(offensive line) blocked their asses off for me today, I don’t care if we score 1 or 20 touchdowns”.
The record-tying performance by Ballage wasn’t the only story of the night. Some of the amazing numbers from the night.

-62 combined first downs
-Arizona State had 301 rushing yards, Texas Tech just 72
-Arizona State ran 90 plays, Texas Tech 75
-Sparky had over 230 pushups, I stopped counting
-Texas Tech QB Patrick Mahomes threw for 540 yards and led the Red Raiders in rushing with 44 yards.
