Blog: Benefits of being involved

Now that Colette and I have turned in our third story, I am glad we are part of the Television Production class at Perry.

Being in that class has given us the advantage of “double-dipping” if you will, and use our news stories for both Pros2Preps and Perry Primetime.

Of course, I don’t plan on doing that every single time, but it is nice to use when I have a busy schedule or if something unexpected comes up. Not only does TV Pro help, being in Newspaper also helps me write the best to my ability.

Putting these two skills together will only help me go further when it comes to pursuing my career in journalism.
