Brophy’s Case Montanile already moves on from Brophy with a decorated soccer career. He won two state titles with the Broncos and tallied 42 goals and 69 assists in his varsity career.
The Allstate All-American can add to his accolades now after being named the 2020 Arizona Gatorade Player of the Year.
Montanile capped off his Brophy career with two assists in the Broncos’ state championship win over Chaparral on February 26th. The Broncos were not defeated by an Arizona opponent last season.
He will go on to play for UC Irvine this fall.
The 2020 graduate joined Sports360AZ earlier this spring in our “2020 Vision” segment, where Montanile shared his perspective on having to move his senior year to a remote format. He also discussed the best lessons he learned while at Brophy and how he is valuing his time with his family before heading off to college.
