Brophy offensive tackle Andrew Milek is already one of the top Arizona lineman in a strong position class, trying to bring aggression and smarts to the field.
Colorado, NAU, Boise State, UNLV, Fresno State, Colorado State, New Mexico State, San Diego State and Utah State have all offered and many other programs have expressed interest.
I am thankful and excited to have received an offer from the University of Colorado. Big thanks to @CoachCKap and the rest of the coaching staff at Colorado. Go Buffs! pic.twitter.com/7nb6hwYLo0

Milek says he is currently standing at 6’5″ and 284 pounds and wants to keep that frame through his senior season. Helping him along the way is first-year Brophy head coach Jason Jewell, who has heavy ties playing and coaching the position group.
“It was really exciting because I’m heading into my last year, and I really want to make it count. Having Coach Jewell right beside me, coaching me until the end of season and beyond that is amazing for me.”
He’s already impressed his new head coach.
“He’s a big, athletic kid that is being heavily recruited,” Jewell said. “He’s just a shade under 6’5″ and strong. He did 18 reps of 225 and played both ways for us last year and will be one of our leaders again next year.”
After a great conversation with @BradBedell, I am excited to receive an offer from Boise State! My sincere thanks to Coach Bedell and the coaching staff at Boise State!! pic.twitter.com/t1ntuARgFE

Milek is using his offseason to research the colleges pursuing him and how he can take advantage of all they offer on and off the field.
“All the colleges that have offered me, I want to really take a look at my options because all of them are great options,” Milek said. “I just want to find the best fit for me where I can strive academically and athletically.”
But he isn’t in a rush to make a quick decision and wants he wants to make his decision once in this process.
“I’m really just letting it ride, seeing what happens, wait until I know when I want to commit because when I commit, I’m going to commit.”
