Would Bryan Colangelo and ASU be a good fit?

Arizona Sports News online

Steve Patterson is the latest to use the office of Athletic Director at ASU as a stepping stone for his career.
Kevin White went from Tempe to Notre Dame, Gene Smith to Ohio State and Patterson to Texas.
Patterson agreed to an extension with Arizona State in September that bumped him up to $450K, Texas walked in and said “how does over 1-million dollars a year sound, Steve?”
ASU got it right by hiring a business guy to run the athletic department. Patterson was very good at his job, I enjoyed covering him.
One name floated by me from someone high up in the ASU tree as a replacement for Patterson, Bryan Colangelo, hmmmm.
