With injuries at running back, the Arizona Cardinals went out on the trade market and acquired Kenyan Drake from the Miami Dolphins on Monday.
Drake comes to Arizona having played in 54 NFL games while with the Dolphins. He ran for 1,532 yards and nine touchdowns.
David Johnson did not play in Sunday’s loss at New Orleans. Chase Edmonds was injured in the Saints game, leaving the Cardinals very thin at the positon with the first-place San Francisco 49ers coming to Glendale on Thursday night.
