The Arizona Cardinals have their quarterback of the future.
The Bird Gang traded up to pick #10 with the Raiders to select UCLA quarterback Josh Rosen.
Rosen was a three-year starter for the Bruins, totaling 712/1170 for 9,341 passing yards, 59 touchdowns and 26 interceptions. Rosen went 18-20 as a starter and had three different offensive coordinators in three years.
The Cardinals traded with the Oakland Raiders to move up to the 10th pick to select the quarterback. The Cardinals sent over their first round pick (15 overall), third round pick (79 overall) and fifth round pick (152 overall) to move up five spots.
This is the first quarterback the Cardinals have selected in the first round since Matt Leinart. Rosen will join newly-acquired signal-callers Sam Bradford and Mike Glennon on the depth chart.
