It looks like the Arizona Cardinals are freeing up some salary cap space as they officially release OT Levi Brown.
Last week on ‘Big Guy on Sports’ Kurt Warner hinted that Brown might be released by the team.
The Cardinals are trying to free up some cap space and couldn’t justify paying the $17 million Brown was owed.
Brown becomes an unrestricted free agent.
Brown played all 16 games last season with the Cardinals. He was drafted by the team in the first round of the 2007 NFL Draft out of Penn State and played in 77 games with 75 starts over the past five seasons.
