Inside linebacker was a position sitting atop the Cardinals’ checklist of areas to address entering this offseason.
On Thursday, they seemed to check that spot off the list after signing former Falcons linebacker De’Vondre Campbell, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
The #AZCardinals are adding former #Falcons LB De’Vondre Campbell on a 1-year worth up to $8.5M, per @RosenhausSports.

Rapoport reports via agent Drew Rosenhaus the deal is worth one year up to $8.5 million.
According to Pro Football Focus, Campbell has had a 82+ tackling grade over the past three seasons.
Last year, Campbell led the Falcons in total tackles (129), solo tackles (75), and forced fumbles (3). He also intercepted two passes in 2019.
Campbell will look to fit into a linebacker group that already features Chandler Jones and Jordan Hicks and also just added Devon Kennard on Wednesday.
