Cardinals suffer crushing loss at Philly

Arizona Sports News online

Carson Palmer looked shaky, the offensive line couldn’t keep him upright, there were dropped balls and some blown coverages. Sound familiar? Sundays 24-21 loss at Philadelphia looked like a Cardinal game from back in early October.

Former UofA quarterback Nick Foles looked terrific in carving up the Cardinals defense. Once again, an opposing teams tight ends killed the Arizona defense.

The officiating crew had a bad day. The pass interference call late in the game on Tyrann Mathieu was about as bad a call as I’ve seen this season. But the missed assignments and chances got this team beat. I am not taking the easy road and blaming refs as many are doing tonight.

Now the road to the postseason is going to take a monumental effort by this team. Winning the three division games is just part of the December puzzle. It starts this Sunday at home against St. Louis.
