Arizona Cardinals offensive tackle Marcus Gilbert has opted out of the 2020 season.
The veteran offensive lineman said in a tweet he is a high-risk player with high-risk family members.

Gilbert joined the Cardinals last offseason but missed all of the 2019 season after tearing his ACL.
The veteran was perceived to be the starting right tackle. With his opt out, Justin Murray, who shouldered most of the load at the position last year, and third-round pick Josh Jones and Kelvin Beachum are in line to compete for that spot.
