The help could come in the Monday Night matchup between Atlanta and San Francisco. If the Falcons are able to beat the 49ers then the Cardinals-49ers matchup would essentially be a playoff game with the winner making it into the postseason. There are other scenarios but none of them matter if the Cardinals don’t beat the 49ers…
I am getting a lot of notes about how Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians should get the Coach of the Year vote in the NFL. While I am certain that he deserves a ton of consideration, you can’t leave out the job that Bill Belichick has done at New England through all of the adversity. Ron Rivera was a dead man walking when the Cardinals ripped through Carolina earlier in the season and now the Panthers are a playoff team. I am not saying that Arians doesn’t deserve consideration, but it’s no slam dunk that he is the guy who will win the award…
