We have known for quite some time now that Cassius Peat would be the third Peat brother to play football for a major division I program. Now we know exactly where that will be for him after he graduates from Corona de Sol high school.

Peat is 6-3 and 240 pounds and a different prospect than what we saw from his older brothers before him. Todd and Andrus were both highly touted offensive lineman, but Cassius is a much more versatile player and the type of athlete that next level coaches drool over.
Peat can lineup at defensive end or linebacker on the defensive side of the ball and call also suit up on offense and play tight end. Through seven games in 2014 he has 32 total tackles, four sacks and two forced fumbles for the Aztecs according to MaxPreps. The athleticism displayed on the football field has also been seen on the basketball court with Corona as he has been a key piece for their basketball team which have won three consecutive state titles.
Before making his commitment, Peat had a total of 14 division I offers which he narrowed down to six which consisted of Arizona State, Michigan State, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas A&M and UCLA back in June.
UCLA continues to grab some of the best talent that Arizona has had to offer over the last decade. Already watching the Bruins currently on Saturdays, you see Brett Hundley, Paul Perkins, Priest Willis, Kenny Lacy and more, and now Peat becomes the latest Arizona prospect to make a big impact for the Bruins who are among the top teams in the Pac-12.
