‘Cats, Miller Claim Another Top Recruit

Arizona Sports News online

It didn’t take long to sell Brandon Randolph on the University of Arizona.

Rated the 38th-best prospect (6th-best shooting guard) by Scout in the 2017 class the 6-foot-5, 178-pounder from head coach Sean Miller’s home state of Pennsylvania committed Wednesday morning after visiting the Tucson campus and facilities over the weekend.

“After taking all my visits and obviously they were my last visit, I just had a good feeling going into it,” Randolph said to Scout.com. “It was a great atmosphere there with great academics and I guess it was just the best fit. It had everything we were looking for.”

Randolph selected UofA over Syracuse, Oregon and Wake Forest among others. He has a knack for scoring and believes his style of play with blend well with Miller’s offense. He’ll join Corona del Sol’s Alex Barcello in the ‘Cats backcourt next season.
