Centennial defensive back Jaydin Young has done a little bit of everything for the Coyotes the past few years.
Defensive back, wide receiver, running back, special teams star.
In two years at the varsity level, Young accumulated 1439 all purpose yards, 16 touchdowns, 191 tackles, seven interceptions, two fumbles recovered and a blocked field goal.
Despite those impressive numbers, Young’s recruitment had been slower than anticipated. All that changed after the Pinnacle showcase at the beginning of May.
Shortly after the showcase, Purdue, his first Power 5 offer, and San Diego State quickly offered him.

Since then, he’s added offers from Yale, Colorado State, Harvard, Nevada, Army, Texas State, and Columbia. He has also been offered by NAU and South Dakota State.
He recently attended a camp at UCLA and is navigating the recruiting process.
