Bright spots following the Arizona Cardinals 20-10 preseason win over Oakland
At the 8;24 mark of the first quarter, Carson Palmers night of work was done(4-8-39 yards and a TD pass). 14 plays, a couple of Oakland penalties, a TD pass to Britton Golden was enough. Palmer overshot Jaron Brown for a big play, but all in all, the preseason opener against the Raiders was a success. The Raiders rolled out E.J. Manuel at quarterback to start the game. David Carr wasn’t needed. Marshawn Lynch(sat during the National Anthem) and Amari Cooper didn’t step foot on the field. The paying crowd of over 60-thousand were treated to a display of backups most of the night. The season opener on September 10th can’t get here soon enough. The Cardinals are going to be good, maybe great.
Robert Nkemdiche was the bright spot for me. Last years first round draft pick was wreaking havoc up front on the Cardinals defensive line. IF he can do this during regular season on a consistent basis then people are going to forget about Calais Campbell jumping to Jacksonville. Nkemdiche was THE story of the night in my opinion.

The ONLY way that changes is with a postseason run…
