The 5-foot-11, 195-pound running back rushed for 1,352 yards and 14 touchdowns and eclipsed 100 yards seven times as a junior. He also had 42 tackles and an interception defensively.
“I love his versatility,” Sports360AZ recruiting expert Jason Jewell said. “He could play on either side of the ball, but Cal wants Brooks as a running back. No nonsense type of runner, hits the hole, one cut type of back. He also has great hands out of the backfield.”
Brooks holds offers from the Bears, Yale, Army, Air Force, Memphis and Oregon State.
Brooks joins Liberty defensive playmakers Ryan Puskas and Braxten Croteau, Higley quarterback Spencer Brasch and Desert Vista defensive tackle Brett Johnson as Arizona prep players who have committed to Cal this class.
