Liebrock, a three-star tight end, has been one of the hottest recruits in the nation, notching 23 offers from some of the country’s best programs. Texas, Ohio State, Alabama, Michigan, Notre Dame, ASU, Ole Miss, Nebraska, Utah, USC and Oregon are just some of the the programs to offer the 6-foot-5, 220-pound tight end.
“Liebrock is the most heavily recruited (tight end) prospect since Mark Andrews,” Sports360AZ recruiting expert Jason Jewell said. “He’s the complete package, has size now but a frame to be a big human being. He has the hands of a wide receiver and has plenty of athletic ability to be a threat in the passing game.”
Liebrock came on strong at the end of the 2017 season with a touchdown reception in each of the last five games of the season. His best performance came against Perry in the 6A state title game where he had five catches for 115 yards and a score.
AZ to Austin Pipeline?
Liebrock may not be the only Arizona playmaker to commit to the Longhorns this year. Four-star Notre Dame Prep athlete Jake Smith announced his final two on Monday: Texas and USC. He hopes to have a decision made this summer.
