Chandler’s Zion Magalei’s debut to varsity football last year was an impressive one.
The defensive end/outside linebacker tallied 51 tackles, 14 tackles for loss and 11.5 sacks in 13 games. Magalei also had his fingerprints all over Chandler’s Open Division Championship win last December with a tackle for loss, forced fumble and tipped pass that led to a pick-six for Brandon Buckner.
On the recruiting front, Magalei holds offers from Air Force, Northern Colorado, Army, Navy, Brown, Nevada, Yale, NAU, Arizona, Colorado, Kansas State and San Diego State.
