Charles Barkley turns 50

Valley resident Charles Barkley will turn 50 this Wednesday.

I have said many times that Barkley is too good to keep “stealing money” (his term, not mine) by doing television work with TNT. He has talked in the past about running the Phoenix Suns or becoming a GM for another NBA team.

I have been doing interviews with Charles since 1993. Through the years he’s talked about being Governor of Alabama, learning to speak Spanish and Chinese or host his own talk show.

I think he could do more with his life then run a NBA team or sit around and talk about basketball. Whatever the case, it’s a pleasure to have him in our town.

Brad came to Arizona in 1993 to begin a 10-year run at KTAR Radio followed by nine years at KTVK-TV in Phoenix. Brad is the Founder/ CEO of Sports360AZ.com. His vision of multi platform content marketing through sports began in September of 2011. Cesmat has served on the Advisory Board for the Salvation Army for the last 18 years. He and his wife Chris have four children.
