Eric SorensonFew players have seen their NFL Draft stock rise more than Arizona State wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk.
One of Aiyuk’s largest supporters also happens to be one of the most well-respected analysts around.
“I love him,” NFL Network and NFL on FOX’s Charles Davis said to Sports360AZ.com’s Brad Cesmat in a recent interview. “I just think he’s “Mr. Big Play” waiting to happen every time the ball is snapped.”
Davis believes one of Aiyuk’s greatest strengths is his versatility as not just a game-breaking wide receiver, but an excellent route runner and kick returner, as well.

He also compared the 6-foot-1, 206-pounder to the Sun Devils’ 2019 top prospect at wide receiver.
“For whatever it’s worth, my rating scale,” Davis explained. “I have him rated as a better prospect than N’Keal Harry coming out last year who ended up going at the bottom of the first round. Wouldn’t surprise me at all, with Brandon Aiyuk, that we start talking about him let’s say [being picked] in the 20’s.”
Davis feels there will be a run on wide receivers in the first round next Thursday and Aiyuk is one who will be hearing his name called from this deep class with includes sure-fire first-rounders in CeeDee Lamb, Jerry Jeudy, Henry Ruggs III, Justin Jefferson and Tee Higgins.
Another Sun Devil who will be selected at some point next weekend is running back Eno Benjamin who declared for the draft after three seasons in Tempe, the last two of which he eclipsed 1,000 yards.
“He is quick, great cuts,” he said. “Whirling dervish, spin moves of that nature. I don’t know if he’s the fastest…guy you’ll ever see but more than fast enough and quick enough.”

He also weighed in on the Arizona Cardinals and some options with the eighth overall pick in the video embedded above.
The draft is set to start at 5:00 Arizona time on April 25th.
