With a month to go until pitchers and catchers report for the start of spring training, there is still some uncertainty about the makeup of the Diamondback starting rotation. Manager Chip Hale met with Valley media before the teams annual sponsor event at Wild Horse Pass. “The three (Greinke
Corbin, and Miller) are locked down, we will see about Rubby(De La Rosa) and Robbie(Ray) getting the first shot”. Arizona has plenty of good options that could factor into the discussion for the back-end of the rotation, including Daniel Hudson, Archie Bradley Chase Anderson , and Josh Collmenter among others. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Arizona add another veteran starting pitcher before camp opens in mid-February.
