Corona del Sol point guard Alex Barcello has been one of the best high school basketball players in the Valley for quite some time.

As he enters his senior year with two state championships under his belt, he narrowed his recruiting list to five schools: Arizona, Butler, Indiana, Stanford and Virginia.

Barcello can score from all over the floor and distribute the ball with ease. The 6-foot-2, 170-pound point guard is a four-star recruit and is one of the West’s best guards in the 2017 class.

Barcello has had a busy summer playing with the Oakland Soldiers as he preps for his senior year.
