Just a few days after A.J. Pollock made his return to the lineup, Steven Souza Jr. was reinstated from the disabled list on Thursday.
Fellow outfielder Jarrod Dyson was placed on the 10-day disabled list for a strained right groin. The team also recalled Silvino Bracho from Triple-A and optioned Joey Krehbiel to Reno.
Souza is in his first year with the club and has played in 14 games and is hitting .163 on the year.
After being traded this offseason, Souza suffered a strained pectoral in a Cactus League game. He made his debut with the big league club on May 3rd before having to make a return to the disabled list on May 18th.
