Davonte Neal headed to South Bend

It didn’t go the way it was planned, but Chaparral star Davonte Neal announced that he will be playing for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish on Saturdays next fall.

The day was supposed to begin around nine in the morning on Tuesday at an assembly at Esperanza Elementary School cafeteria in front off more than 600 students, faculty and media. 

The end result, Neal announced his decision in front off less than ten friends, family and members of the media.
