Saguaro senior wide receiver Christian Kirk, Arizona’s top-ranked player in the 2015 class, used social media Wednesday morning to announce he’s whittled his college list to six.
They are, in no particular order: Arizona State, Auburn, Ohio State, Texas A&M, USC and UCLA.
This news was obviously well-received in Tempe as the Sun Devils, according to Kirk, remain an option for the dynamic playmaker who toured campus with his parent’s late last month.
The 5’11, 190-pounder, considered by many a Top 3 wide receiver nationally, is planning on graduating in December much like Texas A&M quarterback and former Scottsdale Desert Mountain Kyle Allen did last year.
Kirk has received over 30 offers from perennial powers around the country. His list included Oregon, Wisconsin, Stanford, Alabama, Georgia, Michigan, Nebraska, Florida State and Wisconsin among others.
He eliminated Stanford, Tennessee, Georgia and Oklahoma State from his Top 10 which he released in early June.
Below are some junior highlights as Kirk (who racked up over 3,000 total yards and 30 touchdowns) helped lead the Sabercats to the Division III Championship last fall in Tucson.
