Before the start of Spring Training, Diamondbacks manager Kirk Gibson sent a letter to his entire team warning them to show up at camp in shape and ready to work.
Unlike last season, there are high expectations with the arrival of the players to Salt River Fields at Talking Stick for the upcoming season.
Despite the different hype surrounding the team, Gibson expects to work as hard, if not harder this year as the Diamondbacks look to improve on the success they had a year ago.
First home spring training game from Salt River Fields at Talking Stick for the Diamondbacks is March 4 against the Giants.
