San Diego State and UTEP are just a couple of the schools that have been in the fact finding stage of quarterback Connor Brewer in the last twenty hour hours. Wednesday, Brewer informed Arizona Wildcat head coach Rich Rodriguez that he was leaving the Wildcat program and he was given his release.
Brewer joins a group of quarterbacks that includes Ohio State’s Braxton Miller, Notre Dame’s Everett Golson and Stanford’s Kevin Hogan who are going to graduate this spring but still have eligibility and could be moving to other programs.
Schools like Texas, Oregon and Florida State are all looking for starting quarterbacks.
It would be hard to imagine Brewer returning to the Longhorns. He was at Texas right out of high school and left the Texas program in 2013.
