Arizona State football is officially on winter break.
After a whirlwind week which included a tough bowl loss in Las Vegas and inking a talented array of new recruits, it’s time for many of the coaches and players to shut it down and hit re-set in the heart of the holiday season.

Despite ending the season with a loss, it’s safe to say the snickering and jokes have subsided regarding Herm Edwards and the direction of the Sun Devils heading into 2019.
Yes, there will be big holes to fill with the departure of N’Keal Harry to the NFL draft, the graduation of three-year starter Manny Wilkins and a number of key offensive linemen. However, Edwards’ blueprint is in place and vision is clear moving forward. ASU returns a number of defensive starters, as well as talented running back Eno Benjamin who burst on the national scene this fall.
truly blessed to be apart of this team and this school! i’ve learned many things in 2.5 years and i am extremely grateful for the people here at this university. win or lose, i whole heartedly believe this team left it on the field for 13 games. to all the seniors, thank you!?

Before the Devils took on Fresno State, Sports360AZ.com’s Brad Cesmat caught up with former Sun Devil safety, now Sun Devil Sports Network sideline reporter Jordan Simone who shared his thoughts on the 2018 season, as well as where the program is headed in his view.
ASU, who finished 7-6, opens their spring workouts February 4th and will conclude on February 28th in Tempe.
