Steve Keim will be no where near the Arizona Cardinals training camp later this month. According to the teams website, Keim has been suspended for five weeks and fined $200-thousand dollars. Keim pled guilty to extreme DUI today in Chandler according to azcardinals.com. Keim will take part in DUI education courses and undergo counseling and evaluation before he will be eligible to rejoin the franchise. This all stems from his July 4th arrest.
“As stated at the time of the incident, this behavior is indefensible and completely unacceptable,” the Cardinals said in a statement. “While Steve has accepted full accountability and responsibility for his actions, that does not diminish their gravity nor the severity of the consequences that result from them.”
The $200K fine will be donated to the Arizona chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving according to azcardinals.com
