Here are some hi-lights from our most recent conversation (September 21st) with the Fantasy Sports Writer’s Association Hall of Famer.

Is Jacquizz Rodgers going to take carries from Charles Sims with Doug Martin out? “I don’t think it’s a 50/50 split. You should see mostly Sims. The Buccaneers have to have somebody come in there and spell Sims or they’re going to burn him out. [Sims] is still the better play. Much like Theo Riddick, he’s still the RB2/flex-type in this offense. Rodgers, I don’t know, is terribly attractive unless you’re in a deeper league and you have a roster spot that you want to take a chance on.”

Guessing you like Dak Prescott’s matchup against the Bears? “[A guy] I talked about all pre-season who should have had a better game in Week 1 if his wide receivers caught the football in the end zone. Week 2 he had a very good game. Prescott plays the Bears and their banged up defense in Week 3, suddenly Dak Prescott on the starting quarterback radar this week.”

Is Dwayne Washington worth rostering if still available in Detroit? “I think Dwayne Washington is worth adding in fantasy leagues. Just to see because he could end up being an option for the Lions near the goal line.”

Is the sample size too small to buy in on Sam Bradford? “Bradford was great in Week 2. He really was. He hasn’t had a lot of time to learn the playbook but he came in and made the Packers look bad. Stephon Diggs–boy, did he look good. If that continues, what a bargain he [will be]. But I’m still not starting Bradford yet. Bradford coming in to a tough matchup against Carolina. Maybe if the match up was a little bit better and I’m sure he’ll have some better ones down the road. But he’s got Carolina this weekend and the Giants in Week 4. That’s not good.”
