Every week during the season NFL Network and NFL.com Senior Fantasy Analyst Michael Fabiano joins Sports360AZ.com’s Brad Cesmat to share his insight on building and developing your fantasy team for success.
Here are some hi-lights from our most recent conversation (September 30th) with the Fantasy Sports Writer’s Association Hall of Famer.
What do you make out of Lamar Miller’s slow start? “He’s one of those running backs who has been a major disappointment. He’s been dealing with a little bit of an ankle (injury) and to be quite honest Brad, the whole Dolphins’ offense has [struggled]. Jordan Cameron has done next to nothing. Jarvis Landry in standard leagues isn’t even in the Top 20, PPR he’s much better. The Dolphins as a whole have not been good…Lamar Miller is not a guy who’s looking like he’s playing in a contract year that is for sure.”
Thoughts on Antonio Andrews with the Titans? Worth rostering? “He’s worth a look certainly…we don’t know who the top running back is in Tennessee. It was Bishop Sankey first week. We saw some Terrance West…also keep in mind that David Cobb is on PUP and he’s eligible to come back [soon] so maybe he’s the guy you stash unless Andrews plays in Week 5 and he’s the clear guy in that backfield but that thing’s a mess right now. There are a few backfields around the league that are absolute headaches for fantasy owners.”
Who do you see getting more of the workload in Seattle with Marshawn Lynch out: Thomas Rawls or Fred Jackson? “Thomas Rawls. He had 100 yards rushing last week…I’m just going by what happened last week. If Fred Jackson was the true handcuff, wouldn’t he have played? Rawls saw all the work and they really like him…at this point you would have thought it was going to be Fred Jackson but Rawls looks like the guy.”
